This research examines the influence of gender and social background on the interest levels of student organization members. Employing a quantitative, explanatory survey method, data was collected from 62 active students at STIE Sutaatmadja Subang. The findings indicate that gender significantly influences student organization interest. However, social background alone does not show a significant individual impact. Importantly, when considered together, both gender and social background collectively have a significant effect on the level of interest in student organizations, explaining 39.5% of the variance. This suggests a combined or interactive effect where social background's influence might become apparent when interacting with gender dynamics. The study highlights the importance of addressing gender-related perceptions for fostering participation and suggests that broader factors beyond individual social background also contribute to organizational interest.
